Another useful feature would be to add a systemd user service to run fcust when (just before) the user logs out. That way any changes the user made to the common folder would be fixed if needed.

• Also see this askubuntu answer and more specifically the ExecStart and ExecStop arguments!

Design suggestions:

• fcust run $DIR for one off run
• fcust service [setup | activate | deactivate ] $DIR for systemd user service usage (using --user to avoid the package needing root access)
