Own player Dot following himself in the map and minimap - Classic ERA #329

After update, noticed my own dot icon in the minimap is following me all time

tried reseting variables and reinstalling but doesn't work

Those red dots where always there... Just disable this option if u dont like it:

is not the red dot is the "A player" dot of the same character image image

Thats weird, didnt u added yourself to friends/pals in Carbonite? Cant reproduce.

How can I checkout it?

Press "O" to open "Social" then check in "Pals" tab.

Ok i think its somehow related to that, I quit the guild I was and the dot disapeared, but rejoin an it came back

Also don't have any person on the pals punks list

Noticed that my player appears with its fullname in the guild tab, and also the dot

Ill try to join some guild and check this. Weird that no one reported it before...

I have seen the same thing I just assumed it was a latency issue and never gave it a second thought. Can confirm this happens

@IrcDirk I think you need to use this function while checking player names. I think what's happening here is something I saw with prat too, the addon thinks Playername and Playername-Servername are two distinct entities, rather than the same entity.
