theres a lot of nice things we want to do over time, but dead easy hackage mirror is the first step. Theres a lot of nice things we can do on top of that, but thats really step one.

Haha, okay. Yes. I really just wanted to open discussions on all of those other topics. To the question "should we do X?", a valid answer is always "no"!

Indeed! :-)

All these ideas are awesome and worth having on a incremental but not slow road map. Just as important is making sure it's easy for people to use. Else the fancy stuff doesn't matter. So I agree with a lot of these ideas (or things very similar to them ). Just being explicit about the neat term enumeration order.
