another way for #16 to prevent jankyness.

Note - This prevent jankyness however if you have scrolled, and you hover over one of those canvases then your body automatically scrolls to top. So yes there is a tradeoff here

Thanks for these PR's @taranvohra, though I'm going to close this and #16 , as I think #20 was a better solution.
