green border is not solid in v.4.0.9 #825

Description of bug If I select the green glass pane with "/is border" to color the border green, it turns green, but is permeable or not solid. Players can simply walk through it.

Sometimes it can be walked through completely 100+ blocks. Sometimes (most of the time) it is only one block wide, so that you go out of the boundary, fall down, but can't get any further than one block out.

The error also persists when the plugin is completely reset.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use "/is border"
  2. Click on 'green'
  3. go to the border and jump out of it

Expected behavior Coloring the border in green. The border should also be solid in the same place where it is visually visible.

Server and Plugin Version result of "/version"

This server is running Paper version git-Paper-450 (MC: 1.20.4) (Implementing API version 1.20.4-R0.1-SNAPSHOT) (Git: 62b220a) Download the new version at: https://papermc.io/downloads/paper Previous version: git-Paper-436 (MC: 1.20.4)

Logs No errors in the console

Additional context The error also occurs for me under default settings on a newly set up server.

this does not allow players to place blocks further out than any other border color, but it is strange, as we don't have any color-specific handling as far as i can tell

Hello sh0inx, Thank you for your reply.

Based on your feedback, I have just created a new Minecraft server offline. Once with Spigot and once with MCPaper. I wanted to make 100% sure that the bug is not due to a setting on our server or one of the plugins we are using.

So I proceeded as follows. I started both servers (Spigot and MCPaper) without making any settings. That means I only installed the most necessary plugins and IridiumSkyblocks. Plugins:

I left all settings at default.

2024,03,25-02,47,43-001 (Mittel)

The BUG is also reproducible in this way. So it is not due to any setting on our server. However, I cannot say whether the bug is caused by one of the plugins mentioned above. Only the green border is still one physical block size too large in each direction. Visually, the border is still correct.

I hope this additional information can help to narrow down the cause of the BUG.
