Oops... turns out I do not know how to github and upload my latest.log properly... sorry
Try without immersive portals.
Can confirm issue still persists with only Iris and Sodium It didn't generate a crash report though latest.log I'll try to get a crash report by trying other shaders
I got it with Shrimple! Latest log also seems to have more information latest.log crash-2024-01-23_23.14.09-client.txt
Sadly, TS2 GPU's are likely way too old to be supported, especially on Windows. You'd likely have more luck on Linux.
Ah, that was my assumption aswell. I think it's worth mentioning tho that I didn't experience these issues at all in 1.18 updates, so this is a relatively new issue for me. But thanks either way (:
Hey, so after a little bit of testing with beta builds, the latest version that works for me is Iris 1.6.0 beta 5. I get the crash on beta 6. So this makes me think 1.6.0 itself isn't the issue but a feature added specifically in beta 6 might be?
Minecraft Version
1.20.4
Iris Version
iris-mc1.20.4-1.6.14
Sodium Version
sodium-fabric-mc1.20.3-0.5.5
Operating System
Windows 10
What is your GPU?
AMD Radeon R5 230
Java Version
17.0.8 (I think?)
Reproduction Steps
Crash Report file and latest.log
Additional context
I can confirm this issue is caused by Iris, as the crash still happens with the mods narrowed down to Iris, Sodium, Lithium and Fabric API. It's not a launcher-dependant issue either. I get the crash with the vanilla Minecraft Launcher, and the Modrinth Launcher. So far I can confirm this crash happens on Complementary Reimagined and Shrimple. Shrimple is an instant crash as soon as I enable shaders, but Complementary Reimagined lets me play a little bit, until it crashes in about 10 seconds. Both shaders are ran at default settings. I couldn't generate a crash report everytime, but this was the latest crash report I got. I think this was with only Iris, Sodium, Lithium and Fabric API as my mods. crash-2024-01-23_21.55.37-client.txt
