Hi ISDI,

I would like to build consensus on how to write metadata "Data Quality" statements/reports in the existing ISO 19115 metadata structure around

  1. Accuracy (Positional, Thematic, Time)
  2. Consistency (Conceptual, Domain, Topological, Formats)
  3. Actuality (Citation Date(s) to associate with data)
  4. Completeness
  5. Conformance (INSPIRE, MSFD, MSP, Open Data)

Thanks for adding this @talcorn1976, we can bring it up during the Metadata Clinic on 29th April.

Some things you might want to give some thought to ahead of that:

  1. What is the readiness level of ISDE in general and individual ISDE nodes in particular for this metadata area?
  2. How would you objectively measure some of these items?
  3. Where are the definitions of conformance to those examples and who maintains them?
