@DonMcNamara I think I'm almost done here... (aside from pushing up a new and improved base box to S3).

Scope it out, and see if there's anything missing...

I'm considering moving the files from setup to our internal AdminScripts repo

Ok @DonMcNamara and @corkupine... this is ready to ship -- well tested under VirtualBox at home.

Works for both clean installs and upgrades... has all of our goodies.

I'll verify with @ireisme tomorrow that this fits the bill, but so far so good... will update README and commit msg later.
