The setup assumes the radios will tune exactly to the beacon frequencies. I am not sure if the new radios will be equipped with TCXOs and calibrated on all 5 bands.

It might be advantageous to be able to adjust the transmit frequency sent to the radio for each band through the UI.

Just a suggestion.

Checking with ICOM - N9JA. The spec sheet show info for resolution and stability only.

Broke out high performance frequency counter (HP 55151A). Will measure the tow IC7200s here.

Ray says the radio is DDS, so once passes factory cal, should be within the stability spec- 10Hz.

Sounds good. The earlier IBP2 spec called for using the GPS to calibrate frequency counting and adjust the frequency as necessary. We can leave that for IBP 2.5
