Cannot buy items that stack/collectable from vendor

Attempted to buy some food from bartender. He sold me individual Baked Rolls, but I could not purchase the "Food" item nor Cooked Spider Leg or Cooked Snake Meat. Baked Rolls are not collectable/stackable.

When I selected buy nothing happened; no gold taken or food given. Had to remove quantity manually. Could not enter positive quantity.

Additional issue in the quantity perhaps related to this issue; when I incremented the quantity I wanted to purchase it went negative and displayed -1, -2 etc I'd expect it to count up when you add more to the order.

The negative quantity issue happens with baked rolls also but I am able to buy them as expected.
