Fishing Feedback #974

Hail, noble developers of Dransik!

I bring to you a tale of the sea, where fishing, an otherwise serene pastime, seems to be tangled in the nets of inefficiency.

The Problem: Fishing appears to be about twice as slow as other harvesting skills. Now, while this makes sense in the grand tapestry of life (fishing is known for its patience, after all), I can swing my lumberjack axe or forage many seeds and berries twice as fast as I can cast my line to catch a fish.

The Catch (or Lack Thereof): It seems one can only catch a single fish at a time. This leads to some... very patient leveling. In contrast, other skills, like mining, allow one to gather up to 9 ores in a single swing of the pickaxe. This discrepancy makes our fishing adventures feel more like an endurance test than a fruitful expedition.

The Indestructible Net: A curious observation: the Fishing Net does not seem to lose durability at all. While I am not necessarily complaining (who doesn't love an everlasting tool? :D), it probably should be fixed to maintain balance in the universe of Dransik.

Summary: Fishing Speed: Approximately twice as slow as other harvesting skills. Single Fish Limit: Only one fish can be caught at a time, making leveling up quite the test of patience. Fishing Net Durability: The Fishing Net appears to be indestructible, never losing durability. In conclusion, while the life of a fisherman is meant to be one of tranquility, these issues turn it into a saga of unending patience. Perhaps a tweak here and there could make the waters of Dransik a bit more rewarding for our humble anglers.
