For "Moving to a new laptop #1325", I just added info about a batch file I created to backup my user notes. It is also what I used so that I had a copy to bring to my new laptop (where I had already cloned my current Firefox profile). After that, the purpose of my batch file is just to keep extra backup copies of my user notes database file(s). I don't know if this info will help you or not, but maybe?
I second this feature request. I'm on 98% of my capacity already and I'd not like to forfeit the use of "syncable" storage. Many thanks in advance!
Third this feature. Hell, I'm willing to pay a small amount of subscription just to have expanded note storage.
Current Behavior (if any)
Currently user notes can only be synced across devices using the browser's
sync
storage area, and once you hit the storage limit, you won't be able to save any more notes.Desired Behavior
Support syncing with a cloud drive, or ITAD account.
Motivation / Use Case for Changing the Behavior
I believe this will become more of an issue as we add more options to the extension, and as people store more and more notes.
Stylus supports syncing with a cloud drive via an in-house module https://github.com/eight04/db-to-cloud. Maybe we can do something similar?
