Expected Behavior

Clicking a link to an external site takes you to that URL.

Actual Behavior

Clicking a link to an external site takes you to the page you are already on.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

Go to Settings / General.
Put a check in the checkbox for: "Disable confirmation when accessing external sites".
Try clicking any external link on any steamcommunity.com page
NOTE: UN-checking the checkbox in step 2 above SOLVES the problem.

Specifications

Augmented Steam Version: 2.6.0
Browser Version: Firefox 121.0.1 (32-bit) and also same symptom on Microsoft Edge Version 120.0.2210.133 (Official build) (64-bit)
