There needs to be a radio flight controller purchased and setup with the S500 hexacopter drone. Furthermore, proper installation must be investigated.

According to PX4 manufacturer: "All PPM Models from other manufacturers" are compatible with Pixhawk. Therefore, I think it would be a good idea to use this, as this is low cost, available, etc.
