"Failed to synchronize registry data from server, closing connection" Vault Hunters 1.13.8 #1048

I tried to make a server for the new Vault Hunters update work, but there are several issues.

  1. InvTweaks mod is missing from the server mods folder. Resulting in Incompatible mod lists.
  2. JustEnoughResources is missing from the server mods folder. Resulting in Incompatible mod lists.
  3. Config file from the server is messed up, resulting in "Failed to synchronize registry data from server, closing connection."

I fixed it by copying the two mods and config folder from client to server.

I wrote my solution in the last sentence: "I fixed it by copying the two mods and config folder from client to server."

I have the same issue.

it helped. thanks ❤

Also this can be fixed by removing industrialforegoing folder (located in config folder of your client instance) and relaunching your client. But this is temporarily option that will help to connect to servers you are not admin at.

In any other case better use this solution:

It's very kind of you guys to provide this free stuff for us all to enjoy but I don't think it's that cool to leave a broken server zip on curseforge to waste people's time with. Thanks to the person who suggested the solution.

Went from getting the error message to my Minecraft freezing and seeing "took too long" in the console. Very nice

It's better to not take the server zip and just copy the config, mods, and scripts folder to a server

I get the same error now "took too long to login" I copied the Scripts, Configs & Mods folder from the client side.....Did you ever get it working?

The same thing happened to me. I fixed it by trying to connect several times in a row and by installing performance boost mods both on client and server (LazyDFU, FerriteCore, etc.).
