Vein Miner Bug #227

Vein mined 3 netherite furnaces and they didn't drop (they disappeared)

Probably related to the #203 issue with Vein Miner (sometimes?) using Offhand as a tool for the action and sometimes not it seems. But i don't know I mined my Netherite Furnaces with Vein Miner no Problem- If it this inconsistent i might stop that for the future tho lol Dont want to loose stuff

I don't use my off hand to do anything when outside of the vault. So its definitely not an off-hand issue. The difference between the 2 reports is that I am still able to use vein-miner (where the #203 couldn't use it at all). And that my items completely disappeared (as if I was mining vanilla glass without silktouch).

Not having something in your offhand does not mean that Veinminer could not potentially still use your offhand (as the hand itself; no tool; no enchantment). As you need at least Diamond i believe you simply break the Netherite Furnaces with your Fist (which is the same result in destroying a normal Furnace with your first) => it breaks the Furnace, not dropping a thing.

In the end you are right the 203 issue was perhaps partly something else. Personally i believe they all share the same cause.

Your issue would more likely be #63 which features the same Furnace Mod.
