Captions don't seem to work even when vtt is uploaded manually #12

Or make a new video with VTT to test. The Sandbox gets raked nightly, FYI.

this could be supported by https://github.com/Islandora/islandora/pull/826

Yes, the track field does exist ( https://sandbox.islandora.ca/admin/structure/media/manage/video/fields). It just does not seem to work as expected. This can be a configuration issue!
