@DonRichards Do you need to encode files using this or play files encoded with this or both?
Accept a FFV1 file for preservation and produce an 2nd video for playback. It should be easy enough to convert. Fairly basic, audio codec might be special. Simple solution with ffmpeg is telling it to copy the audio as-is ffmpeg ...... -c:a copy .....
That was part of instructions I found to "maintain" losslessness, so it is probably unnecessary.

@jordandukart It would be nice but since I'm no longer with UTK this no longer holds any significance to me. I'm good with this being closed for now.
FF video codec 1 (FFV1) suport is needed for our upcoming oral history collection. Is it possible to get Islandora 8 video to play nicely with this codec?
