Fullscreen doesn't go over the menubar in Gnome/Linux

Has there been any update concerning? I am using the latest SVN (pulled down 
2010-11-18). The problem still appears. The fullscreen elements are pushed down 
X pixels (where X is the size of the menubar(s) in pixels) on the top and 
bottom. Effectively throwing off the display separation. 

Running CentOS 5.5 x86_64.

uncomment line 384 in sdlSingleContext.cpp and recompile (cd src; make ; make 
install)

You should get fullscreen but will loose the ability to switch application 
(alt-tab).
