actually! goats do have their high jump and charge against mobs because i ran many tests while working on them, just that they won't jump if it's not needed and they won't charge mobs frequently (unlike screaming goats which actually do), also they don't ram into logs because it is a feature that was literally just implemented today.
axolotls do play dead when hurt and they do regenerate, they're kinda buggy because they can't stay a long time out of the water but it's getting a deep revision when remade. don't have any arguments on the player regeneration because don't remember getting it anytime
The two main mobs of the mod lack some features from they vanilla counterparts.
Goats lack they high-jump and don't charge against mobs or logs (whereby don't drop horns), only move around similar to sheeps. Axolotls don't play dead when hurt and don't regenerate either, also don't grant regeneration to the player. Glowsquids are the only mob that works properlly (aside they already vanilla suicidal tendencies)
I'm playing in 1.16.5 release, with forge 36.2.34 and using the builds cavesandcliffs-1.16.5-7.2.0 and cavebiomeapi-1.16.5-1.4.2 I wonder if this could help to an eventual fix.
