How do I get a built version of this?

@Eliasers Until this PR is merged, do the following:

  1. Extract the contents of patchServer.zip into your server installation location (by default, this is located at %APPDATA%\Roaming\Code\User\globalStorage\deltin.overwatch-script-to-workshop\Server\v2.0-win-x64).
  2. Replace the contents LobbySettingValidation.json in %USERPROFILE%\.vscode\extensions\deltin.overwatch-script-to-workshop-3.2.1\json-schemas with the contents of this Gist.

Thanks, but after patching vscode fails to ping the server. I can't figure out how to troubleshoot this, it doesn't give me a detailed error message

@Eliasers Apologies for that, I'm just getting started with contributing to OSTW, but I think I've got it figured out now!

Please download the appropriate ZIP file for your platform from the Google Drive link below, and then proceed with the following steps. If you're unsure which platform you're on, go back to %APPDATA%\Roaming\Code\User\globalStorage\deltin.overwatch-script-to-workshop\Server and see what the suffix after v2.0 is, and match that to the v2.0.1 ZIP file below. For example, on my Windows x64 computer, I have v2.0-win-x64, so I would download the v2.0.1-win-x64.zip file.

  1. Go to %APPDATA%\Roaming\Code\User\globalStorage\deltin.overwatch-script-to-workshop\Server.
  2. Extract the contents of your downloaded zip file into the folder (you should only end up with one additional folder in the Server folder).
  3. Open VSCode.
  4. Hit Ctrl + Shift + P (Mac: Cmd + Shift + P) and type ostw locate server.
  5. Select the Overwatch Script To Workshop: Locate the server installation option.
  6. Navigate back to %APPDATA%\Roaming\Code\User\globalStorage\deltin.overwatch-script-to-workshop\Server (protip: on Windows, you can paste the above into the bar showing where your current location is), then enter the new v2.0.1 folder and select Deltinteger or Deltinteger.exe.
  7. Ignore OSTW telling you to download v2.0.
