When trying to run the app in German I noticed the locales are supposed to spelled with an underscore, at least that's what the default seems to be when I don't specify something else as env variable.
It previously seemed to work because it just ran into the default case every time, which was English anyway.
However this also makes me wonder how 'en_US.UTF-8' is the default on my German Windows installation now...
