GRASS is not yet fully compatible with python 3, mainly because of the GUI. However, it is possible that the API that uses Itzï is compatible. We need to test if Itzï can run with Python 3, and :

fix the issues in Itzï
Report to the GRASS team the issues within the GRASS API

749dc04 improves the python3 compatibility. However, the GRASS python framework is still incompatible. A bug report has been filled (https://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/3446)

fd7cc4dc366 makes itzi compatible with Python 3
