The idea of this sensor is ingenious. However, it looks like the PCBs were made using Spring-Layout 6, which is a paid EDA software. If possible, I'd ask for a conversion to KiCad, which is Free/Open Source and widely used by hobbyists.
EAGLE is also another very popular EDA software that have a free version for hobbyists that limits the size and number of layers available. This sensor is small and simple enough to fit these constraints.
