3 years ago Can confirm. Having same/similar issue with the addon. It will load on all characters, but some have errors others don't. In all cases it isn't functioning. The Skillchains box appears but none of the info populates except for the countdown for timing. It doesn't display any of the Skillchain names.
Everything was working flawlessly about two weeks ago, but after the most recent client version update and server side patches (June 2021) these behaviors started occurring.
I'm able to get the addon loaded but none of the commands for toggle display information work. I pasted in the section i'm referencing.
This is the error i keep getting : [Addons] Error! Addon skillchains failed to call event command. Error: \addons\skillchains\skillchains.lua:450: bad argument #4 to 'format' (string expected, got nil)

The following commands toggle the display information and are saved on a per job basis.
/sc spell -- sch immanence and blue magic spells.
/sc pet -- smn and bst pet skills.
/sc weapon -- weapon skills.
/sc burst -- magic burst elements.
/sc props -- skillchain properties currently active on target.
/sc timer -- skillchain window timer.
/sc step -- current weaponskill step information.
