External SD card not scanned #27

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Application.
2. Select to scan the external SD (in my device: '/mnt/media_rw/sdcard1').
3. The application does not scan the partition.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Before Android 4.4.2 the device was scanning the directories and showing the
blocks for the space ocupied.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.4.2 on Sony Xperia's Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Please provide any additional information below.
Application was working in Android 4.3.
Tested in Sony Xperia Z1 Compact (model D5503) running Sony Xperia's Android
4.4.2 with kernel 3-4.0-perf-g8c33725 and a 64 GB Kingston microSD card.

I have the same issue, I guess. Also 3.4.2 on KitKat 4.4.2, device Galaxy S2.

diskusage on start suggests "/mnt/media_rw/..." (screenshot) which is not
accessible without root (ls -l attached). Right path with normal rights would
be "/storage/sdcardN" (another ls -l), but it hides behind [Root required]
button.

output of "mount" attached as well

I am also experiencing the same issue with the "/mnt/media_rw/..." path not
being read by the app (and subsequently, its size not being shown)

see attached

Same problem here:
I have the same issue, I guess. KitKat 4.4.2, device Galaxy Allview X2 Twin.

diskusage on start suggests "/mnt/media_rw/ which is not accessible without
root. Right path with normal rights would be "/storage/sdcard2" (who is
accessible).

Thank you in advance!
