What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Type accented letters

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Accented letters are expected. Unaccented letters appear on the device instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Last version as of today (20-Jun-2013). Android 2.3.6, huawei u8650

Please provide any additional information below.
