binary variable #2

is the structural equation modeling for continuous variable same as for binary or ordinal variable when heritability is estimated? are the paths different between the two types of variables?

Hi @miaodingxjtu The models with binary or ordinal outcome variables are not implemented in the package at the moment. OpenMx, however, provides all necessary functionality for such models, as in the tutorial: http://ibg.colorado.edu/cdrom2012/rijsdijk/ThresholdLiabilityModels/ThreshLiab.pdf I will add the liability threshold models to the package in future.
