Problem with balance when added income/expense #3398

This is what i talked about earlier. As you can see when i add the money it didnt add up immediately and the day is still set at today 5/8/2024. But when i changed to 4/8/2024 then it will get added up into my wallet. I dont know if this is a bug or a feature or this is only happening to me? Can anyone help me fix this on my phone. (My version is the beta version 2024.08.04 (193) on CH play. I am currently using Samsung galaxy S20 FE. I dont know anything about tech so i dont know how this happened on my phone.) I did watch someone fix that issue on my previous post + i did update my app on CH Play but it didnt work out for me. I really love this app and hope i can keep using but this kinda frustrate me.

I was able to reproduce this behavior by changing the region emulator to Vietnam

Tried changing region to Vietnam, also tried with a new account having currenty as VND. Still not able to reproduce.

Tried changing region to Vietnam, also tried with a new account having currenty as VND. Still not able to reproduce.

Sorry, I tested with my branch out of date. Your changes in #3390 have already solved this behavior.

After updating the app to the current version (2024.08.25) from Play Store, I added the two transactions I had done in the morning (26/8/24). The balance, however, remained unchanged. After changing the time of each transaction from morning to evening in the 24 hour format, the balance got updated correctly. Weird.

I played around some more and noticed that when I changed the time again, the app also changed the date automatically to the previous day (25/8/24). Super weird. I changed the date and time again to the correct values and. . . the balance changed to the value before I had added today's transactions!

What's happening, guys? Is there a fix around the corner?

Timezone: UTC +5:30 (India) Currency: INR Phone: Samsung Galaxy M31 OS: Android 12

@alphanerdgen please try the beta channel from play store or try the apk from GitHub.

@suyash01 I installed the apk from GitHub on a different phone and the app is working fine. Thank you.

Do you know when will this version (2024.08.25-195) become available for download on Play Store? (I prefer installing apps from there.)

The fix is there in the beta version on the play store. I don't have any ETA on moving it to a stable version.
