New polestar owner, and I've got a google play developer account

Hello,

I will be soonish a new owner Polestar 2 car, and I found this app today, of course I will like to add it to my car, and since I developed 6 or 7 years ago android, I've got a google play developer account (I had one app published long time ago).

What I need to do to build the app, since I didn't touch android apps since 3 or 4 years, and the last think was a small Poc in godot, I don't remember anything.

Also, I will be glad to offer my possible developer account to give access to this app to other people if needed (I saw in the readme that everything was full right?)

Hi,

Sorry to disturb, (thanks for the link, I didn't found it originally) Have you any idea why it says is inactive, and I don't see the application but says the app is full deployed for internal testing?

@Dracks it says Inactive for me too so it should be nothing to worry about. You should be able to add the testers (e.g. your own) email address in the "Testers" tab from your screenshot. Just make sure to use the mail from the google account used in your car in case you have multiple accounts. From the same page copy the "invite"-link at the bottom. Open it in a browser where you are signed in with the google account which you have just added as tester. Trigger the installation on your car from the browser. After the first installation further updates should be applied automatically. Additionally you can see your app under the "installed apps" in the google play app in your car ;)

I've got it working yesterday, sorry to not say anything. I'm almost sure I didn't had the invite link originally, and after doing some stuff with my account I saw it. Now it's installed (My Google developer account was super old, from the begining of android, and was like 8 years since the last time I did something there).

How I can add myself as a tracker for anybody that wishes the app?

You are welcome to register there and add your track to the wiki page. I do not know of any other tracker - which does not mean that there is none of course. But maybe you could also check if you find anything on https://www.polestar-forum.com/ or create a post there if there is none yet :)
