Confusing Schedule from sem1 to sem8

That looks a bit confusing. Do you refer to yr2 sem 1, like for sem 3?

Reason for disagreement: Following the same way as school of computer engineering does not mean that it is always true.

I never see this table before and I never hear people using sem 1 to sem 8 to represent all years.

I myself find it confusing. And I ask my friend, he also got confused. As I search online, CS recommended schedule also don't use sem1 to sem8.

One more point is that there is also special semester in each year, how will the app treat it?

Since the app is open to all computing students, it is recommand to explain the UI more clear, such as print out Y2/S1 for year 2 semester 1 insetad of sem 3, or using sem 3 but explain it in the user guide. Simple change can make a larget improvement. It is not recommended to simply borrow the design from school of computer engineering in this case.
