The purpose of this issue is to discuss potential bounty systems for the initial implementation on the J1149.com website. Additional proposals should follow the format of proposal 1.

Bounty proposal 1:

  1. Build a tip bot that visits each github issue and comments with a tip / donation address (block explorer hyperlink).
  2. Tips for an issue will (hopefully) accumulate.
  3. If a pull request is merged which resolves the issue, the issue is closed by the merger.
  4. If an issue with tips remains closed for 30 days, without contention, the bot sends a claim-tip message to the pull request author.
  5. The pull request author can claim their tip.
