Source positions #2

Could you tell me how the source positions are defined in the mock catalogs? Are they purely random or are they drawn from some sort of clustering model?

Gabe, Right now, the RA and DEC values are random across the field of view (11'x11' for the current mock), and we haven't implemented a clustering model.

Dear @gbrammer , We identified a small bug in the ra/dec positions of v1.0 realization 1 of the star-forming mock (see latest github issue with more information). The issue is now fixed and you should be receiving an email notice when the fixed ra/dec are available for download. Thanks, JWST mock catalog team
