It would be cool to have a generic 'geojson layers' plugin to demonstrate the desktop and interactive capabilities.
Basically, a plugin that can:
Read a geojson from disk (containing points)
Plot that in a variety of layers - e.g. marker cluster, heatmap, choropleth. This will probably need work within mapthing to create some generic API's for such layers
Have popups when a user clicks on e.g. a marker showing attributes or graphs
