Thanks for creating this @fcvdb. I've put it as draft, as I'd like @mikecooke77's view on this before going further. I've also said this is related to #2860, as it doesn't resolve that (it's just a workaround for one use-case).

@BenjaminRuston - this data file is the one I have been using, and has the changes in it that I'm expecting.
