The backports/v0.21.1 branch of spack has some important bug fixes and features, such as actually helpful output from spack concretize and spack solve. I was able to pull this in cleanly, and build the existing develop branch of spack-stack.
This should go into develop after cutting the release/1.6.0 branches.
