Are the changes observed in the oceans being driven by atmospheric changes or changes in ocean currents?

@cahartin this is the raw basin mean for fgco2. I am unfamiliar with this variable and units but the axis seems small to me. Were you expecting basin mean to be in the magnitude of 2 x 10-9 kg m-2 s-1 ?
