Results on exported fossil fuel #497

Hi all,

I'm interested to to the amount of fossil fuel, specifically coal, being exported from a certain region. Is there a way to extract such information from GCAM simulation?

Could that be done by substracting 'coal resource production' with 'regional coal'?

Gross exports can be queried in the USA region, traded coal sector, and the subsector of the region of interest. A simple query of "outputs by sector" will return a large data table that will include it. Within the region of interest, coal resource production minus regional coal (total) will return net exports. Coal resource production minus regional coal (domestic subsector only) will return gross exports.
