The official SSP population data (IIASA-WiC) does not have any population projections for several countries. Currently, for these countries population is held constant through 2100 and all SSPs. Generally these are small enough and part of other larger regions that we don't really need to worry about them. The exception is Taiwan. Since it's a single region in GCAM, should we think about a way to allow the population to change over time (compared to other countries, etc.,)? (I think this is an issue to track/think about for future improvement, but not to change right now.)
