I heard that there is an issue with the official RS3 client executable on Linux right now, is that the reason for this?

Description: Ubuntu Focal Fossa (development branch) Release: 20.04 5.4.0-18-generic #22-Ubuntu SMP Sat Mar 7 18:13:06 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

RuneScape: 0+git.347723a 2020-03-25

Thank you. rs3_crash.txt

Just as an FYI, the upstream Jagex issues are fixed. The native install, this "runescape" snap and the older "rslauncher" snaps, Flatpak, and AUR should all now be working without issue at this point (Or in a few hours, at least), and hopefully we won't have a repeat of the same issue that's been plaguing the Linux playerbase this month.

The fix for this specific issue was fixed in revision 2 of the "runescape" snap package. I presume you're on that now since you've already noticed the fix, on the offchance you did a local build I thought I'd also mention that Snap stops autoupdating in the event you install local copies, and you might want to go back to the store distributed version if that's the case.

Happy scaping!
