Weird (purposeful!) extra space appears on blank files. #20

Extra space appears in blank files after cursor.

It is there specifically so that the caret can be reset in front if it on blank files. I cannot find a way to properly insert the caret into an empty node.

It is a problem because if a user ever hits the right arrow key on a new file, they will think there is a space there, but it is not present in the "code".
