As researchers, we need to draft project proposal to gain feedback and approval from Dr. Rios.

Here is a checklist of items to include.

• [x] Title Page

  • Project title: SLLIM: System Log Local Intelligent Model for Question Answering on System Logs

• [x] Introduction

  • Problem statement or motivation
  • Goals/objectives of the project
  • Importance of the research

• [x] Objectives

  • Clearly defined research questions or hypotheses
  • Specific objectives to achieve with the project

• [ ] Literature Review

  • Overview of 5 related academic papers
  • Summary of each paper and its relevance to your project (See #1 )

• [x] Methodology

  • Data collection methods (specify datasets)
  • NLP techniques and tools to be used (e.g., lightweight LLMs, tokenization, model fine-tuning)
  • Model evaluation criteria (accuracy, resource efficiency, etc.)

Still need datasets and lit review added from #1 and #3
