Currently data before 1960/70 (except for energy CO2) is taken from regional pathways from EDGAR-HYDE and RCP data. Both datasets are now relatively old and have been replaced by CEDS for most gases. CEDS also offers country resolution. Thus CADS is a good candidate to replace RCP and EDGAR-HYDE for CO2 and CH4.
