make all diffculty and enhancements options singly toggleable #248

can you make all the options in either enhancement or difficulty to toggle on or off at will. i'd like the choice to tailor my difficulty.

Currently this is not going to be possible without taking a wrecking ball to the save game code and the setup menu code.
It's an insurmountable amount of work that might get easier to deal with over time.
Not only that it's just not something we're interested in at this time..

that's fair...may i ask why the increase in level 2 planet activity under lore...this seems more atune to difficulty than anything.

It's a little of both since lore-wise nothing happens at level 2.
It's not that much an increase in difficulty and more to do with filling a gap.

Though you've now given me the idea of having hazards happen at a level 1.
