Ammo overrides don't function correctly #306

According to various bugs that have popped up it seems like ammo overrides don't work unless there is something to override initially

I believe 4f1c13e has fixed this, let me know if you notice any more strangeness and feel to reopen. Debuffs are at least functioning as intended as far as I've been able to test them so far.
