URLs with hashes in display very oddly #5

When I post the URL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongolia#Geography_and_climate

It comes out like this: #Geography_and_climate" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongolia#Geography_and_climate

Similarly, URLs in brackets try to include the closing bracket in the URL, so you have to copy-paste the URL into a new tab instead of just clicking the link.

Edit: Bounty! https://freedomsponsors.org/issue/667/urls-with-hashes-in-display-very-oddly

Sausage, what's your preferred bug bounty thingy?

JKershaw commented 9 years ago

Whatever that last one was seemed to work well :)

Cassolotl commented 9 years ago

Okay, then I'll use that one until you tell me there's another you prefer. :)

Another one me and harpereaves found is https://freedomsponsors.org/ - because you don't pay up-front (so they don't keep the cash if no one claims), you can do time limits, and you can state exactly what you're sponsoring.

Totally up to you, it makes no difference to me :)

Cassolotl commented 9 years ago

Okay, then I'll go with the one I like, if you don't mind either way. :)
