• Wrote some of the mile stone description
• Wrote some of the issue that we will face in the project

• worked on the UML chart and help brainstorm as to what we wanted to do.
• got the sdk for the kinect

• So I have been slowly gathering new information of how to approach Directx 11 and I feel that starting with the cube map will be a good start. So I have gotten source code for that and more things that are dealing with Directx
• I have looked at the model classes that Aaron and nick have done and I think that we could put more enumeration for some to the classes in the uml. Just like Direction class, anything at uses direction, we can create the enumeration for UP, DOWN, LEFT, and RIGHT.
• And this week, I plan to create some of the Unit testing and get started with the design portion of the project with the cube map.

• This week I have been able to create the basic UI so that we can show minimal requirements. I have created a terrain map that is regenerated hills and mountain. And I have also implemented the camera to the point to were the mouse move it around the screen manually instead of just clicking and moving it like it was originally.
• With lunas website I have also looked at RichardsSoftware.net which show me more example of things that we could possible implement in our project.
• I am currently trying to implement a loading screen as well as different object to put in the environment.
• I have also implement a cube map the will be surrounding the center stage and will be used more toward implementing the sky.

• This week I have created a temporary character in the game in 3rd person. Since the project cannot continue with luna, we have been learning the new lessons on http://www.braynzarsoft.net/.
• With the character, I can move left, right, forward and backwards based on the mouse and A,S,W,D keys.
• Along with creating the character, I have created an one of the weapon that will be in the game and one of the maps that will also be in the game.
• And I have been working with Nick and Mike with fixing some of the model classes.

*Worked more with the Braynzarsoft.net tutorials.

• so far I have made the boundary detection and making maps out of 3ds max.
• currently I am using the a height map to make the terrain to make the maps.
• also I am trying to adjust the camera to make sure the character looks like it's walking on the ground.

• worked on trying to get the projects to come together.

• made four different types of collision detection that all can collide with each other as well. The main goal for this is when we import object we can have the ability to surround with the collision detection.
• the collision detection was implemented within the biped class so that we can not collide with any objects.
• fixing up some of the model classes to work better with the new collision detection that we have implemented.

• I worked on the inherency with the stats, position, biped, enemy, friendly, and point.
• I made the biped work well with the stats and position class.
• got rid of the double implementation in biped, stats, and position
• started to clean up the rest of the classes.
• made the biped work along with the camera class.
• started to work on the enemy movement to follow the biped
• next week i would like to get the enemy to follow and randomly move around also with the biped's friendlies.

• i'm starting to work on the menu system.
• before the program starts a splash screen will appear.
• I worked more on fixing the model classes.
• I have also looked up more about how to code in win32.
• now i am working with mike to work more with the database

• made a new height map and a new class that will allow to determine the height on every x, z axis.
• I have done so with the user, enemies, objects, and the houses.
• Since I have changed the coordinates of the height map, I had to change the coordinates of everything else.
• I have fixed some of the code in some of the Problem domain classes.
• now i am going to work on the final paper and the presentation.
