All examples assume the Eastern United States time zone. Every 10 days, 5 occurrences:

DTSTART;TZID=US-Eastern:19970902T090000 RRULE:FREQ=DAILY;INTERVAL=10;COUNT=5

==> (1997 9:00 AM EDT)September 2,12,22;October 2,12

Just noticed this example is from an old RFC that has now been preceded by RFC 5545; check it's still valid!
