Quite a few internal options, such as first-person arm models, require setfile changes. Need to look into what, if any, options there are for improving custom set file options, Either changing setfile content at runtime (this is possible, though a pain, and may cause issues in rendering other models)
Plugins are really not ideal, as that would prevent mod auto-download
