What is the problem

A regression occured in the last beta version. zooming in a plot does not fill the axes's ranges anylonger :(

What did you expect

I expect to get back this nice feature that is very nice to switch accross auto user and defined modes.

Describe how to reproduce or add a test

Zooming in any plots leave ranges empty.
